![]() I know it's supposed to be in res_mods, but I'm not sure what to do with the items that the zip file gave me. I'm trying to install the 1.7.2 version of the mod for the Yamato, but I seem to have a hard time working it out. Not sure if that's the issue I'm currently facing. Unfortunately, I always seem to get random, occasional crashes whenever I have them running, so I don't use them much, and now that I've got things like the Zaya camo, the Alldestroyer camo, my HSF camos and can color swap my IJN camos (my default nation in game anyways), I may not care enough to use any of them except possibly the Space Battleship Yamato camo. I've tried the other skins from the OP except for the Red Alert Yamato skin, some of them worked fine(ish, one issue seemed common to all of them, more on that in a second), some of the just plain didn't work for me (namely the Amagi skin from the same modder has never worked for me for some reason). Either way, I've only used it for screen shots and training rooms so far, pretty much just for entertainment (and some more cool ship/starship pictures for my ever-growing screensaver slide show). ![]() I think that it's just a visual thing as the mod should only be client side, and not affect hit detection because that should be server side, if I understand how this game works correctly. Trouble is, I'm hesitant to use it because when I install it and view the ship in the in-game armor viewer, it looks like the armor model changes. I found one back before the Space Battles April Fool's event that gives Yamato her refit from the year 2199 (otherwise known a Space Battleship Yamato, for those who don't get the joke).
